Hamilton Bowser, was inducted into the NJIT Athletic Hall of Fame for his outstanding achievements as one of the premier fencers in the history of the university, including epee championships in NCE fencing tournaments in 1949, 1951 and 1952. He was co-captain his junior and senior years and became the first NCE fencer to compete in the Amateur Fencing League of America Championships prior to 1954.
