Professor Joseph M. Fitzgerald was inducted into the NJIT Athletic Hall of Fame for his outstanding achievements as Coach of the NCE JV and Varsity Basketball Teams from 1952-66, including the 1964-65 Number 1 nationally-ranked defensive team.
