2007-08: One of three seniors on the NJIT squad, teamed with Doci at the No. 1 spot and earned second-team selections at first doubles. ...the duo compiled a record of 8-2. Kasem closes out her senior season with a 7-8 overall record (6-8 at #3 singles; 1-0 at #2 singles).

2006-07: Recorded a 6-15 record; 3-7 at third singles.

2005-06: Posted a 9-3 individual record playing second singles in tennis.

2004-05: Division II Northeast Region Women's Player of the Year in the ITA. ... Played first singles and was ranked 13th in singles and 6th in doubles in the ITA Northeast Region.

Prior to NJIT: All-Hudson County for coach Nancy Bodayle at Bayonne HS ... also played volleyball ... had a USTA regional ranking of No. 28 in her age group.

Personal: Daughter of Kasem and Maria Kasem... father Kasem is her personal tennis coach ... biomedical engineering major.
